Terms Of Business

When you first start working with Jobshop UK we will ask you to sign a copy of our standard Terms of Business for Temporary Recruitment or Permanent Recruitment. You will need to return a signed copy to us as soon as you are able.

Jobshop is compliant with all relevant employment legislation, we are governed by the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and as such comply with the provisions of the Act and the regulations made under it. We are required under the Act to provide all our Clients with a copy of our Terms of Business.

The provisions are designed to protect the interests of the job seekers and employers using employment agency or employment business services.

Recruitment and Employment Confederation - Code of Practice:

Jobshop UK are also members of the REC and are therefore required to observe the highest principles of ethics, equity, integrity, professional conduct and fair practice in dealing with others and will conduct our business in a manner designed to enhance the operation, image and reputation of the recruitment industry and REC members. The REC offers guidance, legal advice and training to members to help achieve these standards.

The REC can also be contacted if you feel you have not been treated fairly or in a professional manner by one of their members.
