If you work within hospitality you are likely to have the ability to deal with customers face to face and think on your feet (especially if there is a problem that needs dealing with). That is a transferable skill that could be used in almost any other industry.

Ensuring that work is checked for factual accuracy, spelling, grammar etc shows great attention to detail.
